I was with one GYN for 20 years.  When I began menopause, I learned that most GYN's do not have much of an understanding on how to treat women at this time of life nor do they want to hear what I have researched through reputable sources.  I read reviews on Dr. Monroe and decided to try her after 5 years of searching in Vegas for someone that would be interested in what I was wanting.  It was extremely frustrating as most doctors follow very old and bad research and won't listen to any other views.  Most doctors only want to treat symptoms of menopause using medications instead of treating the source.  Dr. Monroe was completely like minded with me on this as takes a more holistic approach if that is what the patient desires.  She is very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable and so is her staff.  Many of my friends are also going through what I have gone through and I have been telling everyone about her.  It is finally great to be heard by my doctor!  One more note: She was running behind so I received a text letting me know so that I didn't have to wait in her office to be seen.  I very much appreciated that!
