I have been searching for an OB/GYN or NP that I was comfortable with for years since mine retired. I was never overly pleased with the ones I had used since. I did not have the most pleasant experiences since then. As a woman, going to a GYN appointment is a very vulnerable experience. I came to Maria Sprunger on a recommendation by a friend. I did have to wait to see her due to her delivering a baby, which did not bother me, because that Is unavoidable. However, I have had this experience before with another practitioner, and they came in and rushed the exam and barely talked to me. It was a very uncomfortable experience. So, when they told me I would have to wait, I was anxious about what type of experience I would have after she returned. I cannot express to you the relief I felt after meeting her. She was very warm, attentive to my concerns, and treated my as if we were friends. I was so comfortable with her and felt that I could tell her about my concerns without judgment. I couldn't be more pleased with her and am so grateful that I have finally found my person. I would recommend her to anyone!
