Marcy Cates was helpful when I first began looking for a therapist. I had emailed her in the beginning to see if she would accept my insurance and she was professional and kind. Every time we had a session I was always nervous about the idea of therapy. She explained how she came to live in Myrtle Beach from California and how she might be able to help me. We used EMDR a few times and I felt personally it helped me. If one day I did not want to work on EMDR, we would work on something else. She was calm and never judged me. I recommend her highly.
