Avoid this “doctor” and his office like the Plague……

We took my son to see Mr. Wani (I hesitate to say “Dr.”) because of a lingering throat issue.  My wife tried giving Mr. Wani some background information on the reason for our visit, and in particularly our confirmed (with multiple test results!) exposure to mold, and this “doctor” rudely dismissed the information, and even disputing the validity of the tests!  After cutting my wife off, he ordered some x-rays and a CT scan, and suggested multiple times to get our son allergy-tested……even after my wife told him he has already been tested.

During the course of the visit, he never addressed my son, who is 14 and can speak to how he’s feeling; every question about his health was addressed to my wife.

The coup de grace was during checkout when the lady put a $500 bill in front of us, and told my wife multiple times that we had not met our deductible, which is 100% incorrect.  When my wife disagreed, the lady actually tried to make her feel better by telling her how much this sham of an appointment would have costed if we didn’t have insurance at all (???), and made my wife and and son very uncomfortable by asking them how much we could pay, as if we couldn’t afford the services.  My wife was disagreeing that we should have to pay anything at all (as we’ve met deductible), and this woman treated us like we were homeless and couldn’t afford the bill…..!
