Dr. Lory Michelle Richter, DDS

I found Dr. Lori when I was looking for a new dentist who would be understanding of my dental anxiety due to years of dental trauma. When we met, I hadn't seen a dentist for anything beyond a checkup in years. She examined my teeth and spoke to me in a non-judgemental way. When it was determined that extensive work was needed, she provided options to help with the inevitable stress like relaxing medications, allowing my spouse in the room during the procedures, allowing me to sit up whenever I felt overwhelmed in the chair, and providing gentle reassurance that everything was okay. I am still very uncomfortable in dental offices, but Dr. Lori's bedside manner and gentle touch have helped immensely. I'm not at all worried about my upcoming checkup.
