When our child is sick and we bring them into the office, it did not feel right that the staff turned around and asked us if we wanted to test them for certain things. As the nurse and doctor, you are the professional, and we expect you to suggest what we should do, not ask us if we want to test. We would not have brought them in to be seen if we knew exactly what was wrong with them. This has happened multiple times, and it's very confusing for a parent.
