I am extremely proud to provide complex pediatric surgical care to a wide variety of children, from premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to young infants, toddlers, young children and adolescents. When a parent hands you over their child and asks you to care for them, it is one of the greatest honors you can receive. I take this responsibility with tremendous gratitude and sincerity. I graduated fifth in my class from The Blake School, a college preparatory school in Minneapolis, MN, in 1990 and matriculated to Princeton University, where I graduated cum laude with a degree in chemistry. Subsequently, I attended Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
