I would STRONGLY not recommend her. Appointment was very short, perhaps 10 minutes. Lots of odd rules, A) Ms. Stanger will not talk with the parents. B) Ms. Stanger will only communicate with the child. C). You can not discuss anything negative, Ms. Stanger only discusses positive issues. D) Ms. Stanger has to be the only mental health resource you use. When she found out that my son had a current counselor and was using other mental health resources (school), she ended the session.
