We scheduled an appointment with this office in January, 2026. We got a phone call today from Mira who advised us that their "Aetna panel is full, and they can no longer accept Aetna patients". I asked her what that meant, and she proceeded to advise what "no longer accept Aetna patients" means after she giggled. I asked her to clarify what the "Aetna Panel is full" portion means, and she put me on hold. She then came back to the line and told me that "the office isn't accepting Aetna patients and that's all she can tell me," then hung up on me. I called back and suggested that we may have been disconnected. I asked her what I can do, and she referred me to the Aetna website. I advised her that they are still listed as a provider and were marked as accepting new patients. She said, "I don't know what to tell you. We just found out this morning." and she again disconnected the call. You can't cancel appointments that have been waiting to get in for 8 months and get frustrated with the patient when they don't know what to do next. How unprofessional!

I have been a patient since 2012. Dr. Tar is a caring dedicated physician and will spend the amount of time with you that you need (that is a positive), Because of that he is usually behind time wise (negative). I do not mind the trade off because of the excellent care I receive.
