Biography

Lauren Athay, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who takes care of infants, children and adolescents. She emphasizes the promotion of health and wellness while also treating illnesses and injuries. Her special interests include lactation medicine and childhood obesity prevention and treatment. Dr Athay has wanted to be a pediatrician since she was a young child and finds her profession very rewarding. Dr Athay recognizes it takes a village to raise a child and truly appreciates the honor of participating in the village encompassing each of her patients. She is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of infants, children and adolescents, and takes an evidence-based approach to her practice of medicine.
