Lanie Santos, CNM

Lanie attributes her three children as being the biggest influence in her life. They taught her to look at things from a different perspective. Lanie says her career in nurse-midwifery is extremely rewarding. Being able to meet women at the clinic and the opportunity to attend births helps Lanie develop and nurture long-term relationships with her patients. She says, “I love being part of a collaborative team, with the opportunity to provide excellent care. It really is the best of both worlds.”   In her free time, Lanie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Northern Michigan, outdoor activities including biking, hiking, kayaking and camping. Lanie is a volunteer for the SPCA.
