Dr. Kyla Rae Marte, MD

Went to her concerned about bump on cervix. First she asked me how I knew there was a bump on my cervix. She took half a second feeling the wrong side and said there was nothing there. I was persistent that it was there so she checked the other side. Never used a light to look at it to see what it was. Decided it wasn’t at risk of being cancer by touch and telepathy(?). Did not care that I was clearly concerned. Had her come back which took 30 mins and she again tried to invalidate my concerns at every turn. I insisted on a Pap smear after listing off all the reasons I’m high risk. She did one but not until after telling me repeatedly that what I had was insignificant. I actually had to say I don’t care if you need to write I told you so in a message on my chart just please do the dang test. This was a terrible experience and I’m grateful I do not have to see her regularly.
