Kierston Bocquin, APRN, CNM received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Washburn University in 1997 and began her nursing career on the cardiac floor at St. Francis Health. Following the birth of her first child and inspired by the nurses that cared for her and her daughter, she transferred to the labor and delivery unit in 1999 where she trained in the newborn nursery, special care nursery, postpartum and labor and delivery units. She loved helping women in labor and wanted to take a more active role in women’s health. Kierston graduated from the Midwifery Institute at Philadelphia University in 2011, earning a master’s degree with an emphasis on midwifery.
