He was knowledgeable, to the point and direct in his words and descriptions. I appreciate when, especially from medical professionals as providers, support staff and more importantly the hospital management, speak truth and succinctly about my care. This care provider is to the point, direct, informative and doesn't add unneeded over protective, evasive, cushy and afraid to say things that might hurt someone's feelings. He understands that my health is a physical, emotional and scientific journey that demands frank and honest information and avoidance of saying anything that will take away my and others knowledge needed to treat me without vague and needless conversation. In my former line of work, my military career, honesty, directness and proper forcefulness of speech was mandatory for clear and concise communication. In my line of work, anything else cost peoples lives. In past treatment for colon cancer, brain tumor and treatment for a wound that ended up septic, glossy touchy feely don't hurt my feelings or make me worry almost cost me my life. It is refreshing to talk to a doctor who understands straight to the point honest conversation where I understand exactly where I stand and how to and when I need to commit to a treatment plan.

I would say that it's been between a good and bad experience I was sick and had to reschedule and then because my ride couldn't do it I had to cancel again for the second time I am a man with disabilities and birth defects and when I walked in I felt like I didn't belong there and then to top it all off I had my right all set up and then they reschedule it of my heart why didn't they do that in the first place instead of sending me through the rollercoaster that they did I just received a phone call from dr. Sampson's office the woman I talk to who is very very sweet and nice to talk to you now all I have to do is find a ride Again Most of the people there at the surgery centre have been okay but again I felt like I shouldn't have been there I hope the hospital is better suited For people with disabilities and birth defects dr. Sampson was upfront and very very straightforward which I really appreciated I hope I have not made anyone angry With me but I am well known for speaking the truth and I don't hide How I feel thank you for taking the time to read this

An error was made by a medical assistant regarding a surgery consent form. I noticed the significant error, pointed it out, and it was corrected.Everything else went smoothly.Dr. Sampson is an excellent provider, and his listening skills and teaching skills are top notch! Dr, Sampson is a Rock Star!!!! He takes the time to fully explain procedures and makes recommendations for the least invasive procedures first. He listens to concerns, and answers questions completely. The makes the patient feel like a partner in their health care. His medical team is helpful, polite, and business like. Seeing an orthopedic surgeon is not usually a good thing, but when an orthopedic surgeon is needed, Dr. Sampson, his team, and the surgical center are top notch.

Dr. Sampson has operated on my hands four times, always with excellent results. He is genuinely concerned with his patient's welfare and explains the surgical procedure and expected outcome very thoroughly. I appreciate the fact that surgery is not his first option, he frequently recommends other treatments and only considers surgery as the final option. I have recommended him to friends who have also been very pleased with Dr. Sampson.

The main thing that Dr. Sampson did for me that I appreciated so much is that he actually went out of his way to go get a book that shows pictures of the tendons in the hand. I hope he knows that things like help individuals like myself who are more visual learners. Having something for me to see made it very clear as to what I had injured and how he was going to fix my injury. Thank you so much Dr. Sampson!

Such a nervous experience for my daughter being this was her first broken bone. But Dr.Sampson and the nurses were so amazing her tears of having to have a long cast turned to immediate smiles as they talked her through everything. Such a great experience. Provider is the best orthopedic surgeon ever! He takes very good care of our child. He is also very knowledgeable and explains everything in a way that is understandable. The only thing I'd say I had an issue was when I called the office a couple months ago and left a message on the phone for his care team to call me back, no one called me back.
