Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Helping others and showing compassion are values that were instilled in me as a young child. My parents, grandparents, and other extended family members modeled the importance of these values in all of their interactions with others. Therapy requires clients to be vulnerable and share their stories, which is no small or easy task. It is an honor to walk through challenges and struggles alongside my clients and their families, to be a trusted and safe ally in their time of need. What I want my patients to know about me: I have a background in family therapy and a true passion for supporting the whole person, not just a part.
