I a m very frustrated at the lack of understanding and concern for my recent procedure. I had just received injections in the area of my concern and was advised to avoid strenuous movements. This provider did not seem to understand and proceeded with a very vigorous exam that caused a significant increase in pain. It is my opinion that the provider should have been more aware of my situation and should have not asked nor expected me to perform the strength tests she did.

When I said I would have difficulty going to physical therapy at this time because my husband had just been in a bad car accident she showed NO concern or empathy, no comment whatsoever. She stressed that the cortisone shots can cause damage to tendons. I know you should not have them more than three times a year. I haven't had one in more than two years. I went in with pain and felt NO bedside manner of support or warmth in the least.

She was very thorough about my issues. She took x- rays before we met so we sat down to look at past and present problems. We discussed what my options were and what I would like to do. Also other options to relieve the pain if that's what I wanted. I would definitely recommend her to others c
