I have a 3 year old and a 10 month old and we swapped pediatricians because of my youngest having such difficulties with reflux. my oldest had the same issue when she was a baby but not as bad. their previous pediatrician only pushed meds- very expensive meds and never explained what really was going on. After 8 months of my son dealing with it and not showing any improvement and the fact that we had been through 4 different reflux meds and ultrasound, we decided to swap doctors. Dr Hoey spent about 30-45 minutes examining my son and interacting with him and explained what was going on and that the medication was actually causing more harm than good. His reflux issues cleared up as soon as she took him off the meds. When she saw my daughter for her 3 year visit, she actually interacted with her was way more observant and interested in her development than their old dr and gave us some great advise. Sometimes we do have to wait a little longer than expected once we get in a room but well worth it to have a pediatrician who seems to care and that takes their time examining your child and really listens to your concerns. Would definitely recommend her.
