Kari Owens, PIP, LICSW

If this is the same Kari Owens that currently works at mind right in ft Payne AL, avoid her like the plague.  She came mid session and disrupted it yelling about money. My therapist knows myr conditions and yelling elicits anxiety attacks and other psychotic episodes and happens to be the owner.  She left me to believe Kari Owens would no longer be employed.  I show up for next visit and see who was supposed to be an ex employee walk into the other end of the building.  The owner met me unlocking the door and I asked if that was her and she said they had reconciled and yes it was.  I told her I no longer wanted to come if she was going to be there as an employee, but she said just come in for this visit and it would be okay.  Well it wasn't okay.  She ended up calling the police and paramedics. After I talked with them they understood the situation and one officer, after me mentioning Kari Owens name, rolled his eyes and said oh, I understand the situation even better now..  This so called therapist caused my therapists office no no longer be a peaceable safe place.  She totally wrecked any progress that had been made and mind right made me worse than I was before.
