She began the appointment with a stern admonition for my having canceled two prior visits. I apologized and reminded her that I had given at least 24 hours notice in each instance. When I mentioned that I'd had MRI's of my head, neck and back recently for balance issues she snapped that she only treats migraines. I told her I thought the head and neck MRI's might show things that would contribute to migraines. She did the standard tests of tapping my knees, having me walk heel to heel and put my finger to my nose with my eyes closed. She said I don't have balance problems. Fearing further unpleasantness, I didn't mention that I've fallen multiple times, sometimes resulting in injuries. She recommended medications which didn't work for me. I'm looking for a new neurologist for my 6 month follow up. I can't remember ever having been treated so rudely by a doctor.
