I have never encountered such an ignorant and arrogant therapist before. Her approach is very hurried, which creates a lack of compassion and basic understanding. This not only renders her session unhelpful, but also potentially harmful.
Karen Scott would not work with my son because he had a disability and told him tela-health would never work (even though he has successfully done so). The look of disgust towards my son had him asking, "What did I do wrong". According to her comments and after- visit summary he does NOT work with you if you have a disability, or have experienced abuse, or have had trauma or depression. Not sure what is left to treat. very disappointed she would not even offer a grain of hope to this young man.
