We have had visits with 4 other providers in Austin since my son was born with a congenitial heart defect in 2020. We go to cardio every 4-6 months. Texas Children's is the best priced and the exact same and (BETTER) services are provided than Congenital Pediatric and Cardio Associates (Pediatrix) at Dell Children's. (DO NOT GO THERE!!) Dr Jayakumar (Texas Children's) listened, showed me the echo, explained in large words and gave me a realistic and thorough explanation. She is wonderful with children and has an amazing, empathetic and caring personality. Her team is wonderful. The billing is on point!! It costs me about $477 for echo, EKG and exam. PEDIATRIX - aka Dell Children's (Congenital and pediatric cardiology associates) costs me $3663 for the EXACT same services. This is an instance where the price is less and the doctor is 500% better!! Dr. Jayakumar is the best cadio we have met with yet!! Austin has a new competitor from Houston here... And she is the BEST!!
