We took our 12 year old daughter to see this "Dr" because she was having trouble sleeping, after a sleep study we returned for the follow-up visit. Our daughter is 12 years old and is 5'8" tall already and weights 175.. so she is about 15 lbs over weight but also still growing and developing. This idiot berated our daughter telling she is Obese and needs to lose weight with no regards for her self image only cared that he made is point. No could I speak to us (parents) alone and voice a concern, lets completely inalate a girls self image who used to belive she was pretty but now thinks she is disgusting because she is Obese.. first of all idiot "Dr" 15lbs over your "chart " weight does not make her obese secondly she is 12.. still growing and developing..her Mother is 5'11" and her father is 6'6" she will probably get taller and if weight stays the same things will level out nicely.. I will be calling hs office and finding out how he prefers to pay for her counseling .
