Stephanie from the office called me this morning. When I answered the phone I Said “hello”. She responded “John”. I said “you can call me Chuck”. She replied “whatever. It’s says here your name is John”. I said “it is and I just finished telling you that you may call me Chuck”. She said “I’m calling to tell you what time to be here on Friday to fill out Paperwork”. I said “my wife scheduled the appointment and put time for paperwork in our calendar”. She said in a very terse manner “well its 18 pages so you can either arrive half an hour early or you can print the email we sent to you and you can print it out and fill it out and bring it with you.” I replied that “I never received an email” she said “well just arrive a half an hour early”. I said “can you send me the email?” She took my email address and I received the paperwork and I printed it out. I went to the grocery store after this and as I was pulling back in the driveway, Stephanie was calling again. I answered the phone “hello”. Stephanie responded “John” I said “you may call me Chuck”. She once again loud sighed so i could hear through the speakers in the car as the phone was connected to my car. Then she said “its says here your name is John”. I reminded her we had already been down this road previously. She said “i’m Calling to confirm your appointment” , once again in a terse manner. I responded “i thought we just did this this morning”. To which she responded “we did but your wife called with questions and was very “BITCHY” and when i explained that since you aren’t a patient yet you couldn’t she couldn’t talk a dr or nurse to inquire about her questions, your wife hung up on me so I’m assuming you no longer want to keep the appointment”. I said “i said I know nothing of what is going on. I haven’t spoken to y wife since I last spoke to you.” She said “well so are you confirming the appointment or not”? I said “well since you’ve been so pleasant to deal with both times I have spoken to you today, you just implied my wife is a b-i-t-c-h, and now you’re backing me into a corner to confirm my appointment, I don’t think I will be keeping that appointment and I will be letting the Dr. know what happened to cause me to cancel. May I have your name please?” She responded “that’s not why you’re canceling your appointment your canceling you appointment because your wife didn’t like being told no”. I said “I asked for your name”. She hesitantly said “its Stephanie”. (I have no idea if thi is the case or not. She could’ve been covering for herself). I got off the phone and went inside and spoke to my wife and found out that she never hung up on anyone. Just the opposite. Stephanie hung up on her. Anyway, sorry that a member of the dr’s staff ultimately is having me write a bad review about his practice, but you are the company you keep and the people that represent you are no different. I wonder how many other people she has gotten to not keep there appointment and how many other patients she has had a run in with. She was just nasty from the get go for no reason. Maybe she has something wrong in her life and was just lashing out. I don’t know. What I do know is she is 100% i am not going to this dr.
