Dr Schechtman has been treating me for Rheumatoid Arthritis for at least 17 years. When I first went to see her my arthritis was out of control, she weaned me off the drugs I was taking from a previous doctor and started me on a new regimen of treatment. To make a long story short, today I am in remission and pain free. She stays on top of current treatments and is very attentive to any changes with my disease. In the past the office has had a wait list. I have referred many friends to her office and those that got in are very happy with their care and still go to this day. She's outstanding.

I called to schedule appt. with dr. Schechtman. I was told since I hadnt  been in for over a year that everything must be started as new patient. Told her everything is the same...of course they have my info!!  She said someone will call you in 2+ weeks to schedule appt.
I told her I was in quite a bit of pain....she had no concern whatsoever!! Aetna needs to review this provider. Their concern is NOT about healthcare. Very rude when you call.
