Dr. Jonathan Y. Yahav, DDS, PC

Dr.Jonathan Yahav put in three implanted teeth on my lower right side, and two implanted teeth on the left side. 
         
On the right side of my mouth, where the three implanted teeth were added, the crowns he put in were filed down so flat that it is hard to chew because the food just mashes up and goes around the teeth.  The upper crowns, which were originally there, were also filed down flat by Dr Yahav. He also took off a portion of the porcelain.  The upper crown now have holes in them, and you can see the metal screws on the lower crowns.  All of these crowns now have to be replaced.  

Dr Yahov said that he replaced the crowns he originally did on the implanted teeth on the lower right side – but the teeth are the same – still flat and still cannot eat on that side.

I need to have all of the crowns affected to be replaced, and do not feel comfortable having him work on my mouth anymore as the work was shoddy.  I have pictures of these teeth which show the holes in the top crowns that he shaved, and the lower crowns he added that show how flat they are, as well as the metal screws inside the tooth.  I also have from my regular dentist pictures of all of the teeth if you would like me to send them.   

My dentist did see the final work that Dr.Yahav did. She confirmed that these crowns have to be replaced.  
I have asked Dr.Yahav to credit my credit card so that I could have these crowns replaced, but he is not taking any responsibility and is saying that he would give me a small amount for goodwill only.  This really needs to be addressed.  Thank you

I have PTSD from a previous dentist as a child so when I broke a tooth I was nervous to find a new dentist. This provider had a lot of 5 star reviews so I thought I was in good hands. They got me an appointment super quickly which I appreciated. Everything went smoothly until I was told I needed to get my wisdom teeth out in order to do a crown. I was shocked and explained that I’m about to get married and don’t want to go through with a wisdom teeth pull at the moment as many of my friends stayed inflamed for months after. I was also putt off at the fact that he wanted to do pull my tooth that day and I was not prepared for that. I decided to get a second opinion and it was the best decision ever. After my second opinion I called Dr. Yahav office to inform them I will not be going through with the crown at their office and requested a refund for the services not preformed. I spoke with the Dr. and he wanted to only refund half my money and told me he should be charging me more since I didn’t pay for X-rays at my visit. I asked for a email of a breakdown of the charges he wasn’t willing to refund and never received one. I will not be going back here and I don’t recommend this dentist.
