This is the best family physician in the entirety of Henry Ford health. She has been my provider for 16 years and I have not once had a negative experience. She is kind and thoughtful and reaches out quickly when you have any questions or concerns. She goes above and beyond to connect you to specialists and orders testing and labs ensuring the thoroughness of her care. She has taken care of not only my health, but she cares for my husband and both of my children who were both born at West Bloomfield Hospital. She reassured us as new parents and guided us all though COVID and other health scares. This Health system is lucky to have this provider; she is a gem, and everyone who sees her knows it is a privilege to be her patient.

Dr. Burgess is the best doctor I've ever had the experience of being treated by. Although I usually only see her once a year, she remembers details about my health and my life. She always shows interest in what's going on with my physically, mentally, and socially. She takes all of my concerns very seriously, makes me feel super comfortable talking about uncomfortable things, and is just overall very caring. I would recommend Dr. Burgess to anyone I know.

Every visit with Dr. Burgess is the best. She goes above and beyond with her knowledge, listening, and compassion. There is no better doctor than her. She even saved my life. One routine visit she detected something wrong with my heart. I was healthy and had no symptoms. As a result, I had open heart surgery and several heart specialists said I would not have lived through the year if the heart issue wasn't detected and corrected.

She listened, answered my questions and inquired about a Rx that she recently prescribed. During my last visit she had warned me about a possible health problem if I didn't change some eating habits. She noted my weight loss and encouraged me to continue. She also made encouraging comments before the end of the day.

Always a good experience. While I know Dr. Burgess has many patients, she always remembers me and details about my life. Makes me feel like a person that matters to her and not another appointment in a busy day. That is a gift she has. HFH is fortunate to have her. As well, her M.A. treats me the same way.

Dr Burgess has been my PCP for many years. She is caring, professional, informed, knowledgeable, concerned. As a result, she is very busy, but she never makes patients feel rushed or uncared for. I can only hope she doesn't burn out with the demands placed upon her.
