Dr Jennifer Amato is a pediatric neuropsychologist in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in neuropsychological assessment and care for children with hearing differences, including those with cochlear implants and other hearing technologies, as well as broader developmental and cognitive concerns. Dr Amato earned her doctoral degree from Antioch University New England, completed her internship in neuropsychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and went on to complete fellowship training in pediatric neuropsychology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
