Oh my goodness, what a wonderful doctor! It took a while to get in to see her for my first appointment because she was so booked and after meeting with her I can see why. Aside from being incredibly friendly, she was actually interested in me and what I had to say. She asked me about myself as well my medical history and the medications I was taking. She listened, asked questions and looked at me as I was speaking. She explained things about my medications and conditions that I had never been told before and didn't hesitate to adjust things that needed to be changed. Even though my first appointment wasn't a wellness visit I felt as if she had all the time in the world to spend with me if necessary and it wasn't until I got ready to leave that I realized she had spent an hour with me. I feel so lucky to have found her. Additionally her assistant was very nice and spent a good deal of time with me and explained things as well. The reception staff couldn't have been nicer or more courteous and gave me some additional information I asked for. If you are in any way dissatisfied with your current situation, I would highly recommend Dr. Southard.
