Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose a career in medicine because I love science, learning new things, and wanted to use the gifts I was blessed with to help others. I chose general pediatrics because I love interacting with kids and their families. What I want my patients to know about me: I am a huge nerd: I enjoy all sorts of sci-fi/fantasy novels, TV shows and movies, especially Star Wars. I probably love the superheroes of the DC and Marvel universes as much as your kids do. What I do when I'm not seeing patients: I enjoy playing video games, board games, reading, and working out at the gym or practicing taekwondo.
