I took my son for the cleaning, but the dentist wasn't in the office after the cleaning was done. The hygienist called me since she noticed a tiny broken bone in the gum which she wasn't sure what it was. If the dentist was there, he would have checked it. We had to come back next day and found out it wasn't anything serious since he could remove it easily. I was really disappointed that the dentist wasn't present when the patient was getting his teeth cleaned. I have never seen any dental office doing such practice. I only found out that because of this instance. He kept telling me that there was an emergency(?) something which I could not believe. If so, we would have been informed beforehand. I think he may have been doing this time to time. Usually I have been greeted by the hygienist after my son's teeth cleaning and told that everything was good and we left the office.
