Before completing her residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Hahnemann University Hospital, and a hospital affiliated with MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine, Allegheny University, Dr. Hwang attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Hwang speaks Korean. Her professional affiliations include Natividad, Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, and Sharp Grossmont Hospital.
