I am a retired board certified family doctor. This was my first visit with Dr. Sylvain as we are new to this area. I was very impressed with Dr. Sylvain. She listened attentively to me. She is very good at asking appropriate, open ended questions, then listening to the response. She has a good bedside manner, is friendly, she was interested in who I am as a person, as well as very complete in going over my medical history, reviewed past labs etc. She was very complete in explaining reasons for ordering testing and in discussing my personal goals for A healthier lifestyle. Overall I am very happy she is going to be our family physician.

I am so thrilled to have Dr. Sylvain as my Dr. Now. She shows a definite interest in me and my welfare. Dr. never even looked at me as if he cared about me or my problem. He looked only at the computer in front of him and tried to push me into more meds or vaccines. I have had friends tell me the same thing. I would be gone to some other Dr. If Dr Sylvain had not come to Brooklyn. Thank you for her. The first time I had her I thanked her for just looking at me.
