I love Dr. DeJak especially this last appointment. I had been struggling a little bit and she was very kind and listened so well and was understanding and inspirational. I am 63 years old and have had the problem of obesity my entire life and not many people have understood what that actually means. The bariatric program with Dr. DeJak Is a safe and non-judgmental place that has actually provided some real solution and help for me. There's still nothing that is magic. It is a long journey and she is there with you throughout it. I don't usually reply to that many of these requests for evaluation, but I need to say how wonderful Dr. DeJak is and how much this provider and this program has meant to my health and my life.Thank you Dr. DeJak!

The doctor never talked about my weight, mental health, etc. She was just focused on eating NO processed foods. She asked me a few times "do you understand what I'm saying?". Very condescending. Will not be going back to the weight management office unless I see a different doctor.
