Was referred to Dr Bhakta by another cardiologist for consultation for ablation. I'm not a good candidate for medication because have bradycardia/low blood pressure and my afib comes and goes. Was admitted to the hospital where they did an echo. He wanted to prescribe me a medication that even shocked the nurse who said it could drop my blood pressure dangerously low. I saw him this morning where he didn't have my echo results, never went over them with me or my heart monitor results. He again wanted me to take the med. While expressing my concerns about the med and requesting more testing like electrical heart mapping, he cut me off. He said that with difficult patients like me if I refused to take the med he would refuse to continue my care and do more testing.
