ZERO STARS! I have been w/Kaiser for years, received below average care & why I am in the position I’m in now. He was arrogant & ignorant and tried to play God by not listening to his patients & their concerns about their health, safety & wellbeing in being allowed to voice concerns that they are not comfortable w/a certain Rx & because he thinks he is better than God at knowing what is in the best interest then his patients. Also, the repeated comment of I am not interested in any reasons are for not wanting to take a dangerous rx ad nauseam. Not to mention his ego got triggered because of the fact I stated I would not be taking the Belbuca he got highly/visibly agitated & his demeanor changed to being arrogant & unwilling to hear me out! I had done extensive research, it was too dangerous & major side effects that I did not want to endure. Including the fact he was extremely upset that I was not willing to take an Rx just because he ‘suggested’ it. No one should not be treated like this by him. I believe I should have the last word on what type of pain medication especially one w/lots of side effects, dangerous & expensive. He acted as if he should have complete control over what he thinks is best for a patient after he said it was one OPTION. He stated he would NOT ever prescribe a reliable & more affordable pain Rx. (Going by what I remember) “I HAVE THE POWER TO WRITE OUT A PRESCRIPTION FOR EVERY SINGLE PAIN MEDICINE AVAILABLE”. He persisted on naming several w/attitude & arrogance. He was not giving me a choice but insisting that I take SUBOXONE which he did not mention, I did. He only told me about Bultran/Belbuca he said was an OPTION! Go home look into it. He clearly had his own agenda & not my wellbeing in mind.
