I had an appointment scheduled for a week and I get a text message from office staff that the Dr. has a family emergency and needs to reschedule my appointment for tomorrow and doesnt have an new appt until 10/04. First off, my appoinment is scheduled for tomorrow. I completely understand having family emergencies however my appointment is over 24hrs away which should be sufficient time to get your office in order. I expressed while making this appointment how important it is that I see the Dr as soon as possible due to a frightening situation. ADDITIONALLY, I had to use a personal day for work which has already been deducted from me. Now I'm out of a day's pay and I have no Dr appt for my situation. To me this is very unprofessional, apologies if you think I sound like a 'Karen'.
