I chose to become a pelvic floor physical therapist to help those with issues society has deemed as “normal”. I want to help people with these symptoms that may be common, but are by no means “normal” and provide them with solutions to improve their overall function and quality of life. My philosophy of patient care is to meet the patient where they are to collaborate as a team to improve their symptoms in a way that can be carried forth independently by the patient. My areas of clinical interest would be helping individuals who are postpartum or experience pelvic pain. Outside of work I enjoy reading, weightlifting, attending yoga classes, or going to a farmers market/pop up to support local vendors.
