Dr. Ghassan Simon Bachir, MD

Dr. Bachir works at Prestige Urgent Care in Fresno. I took my son in for a broken bone and x-Rays last week, and he was so incredibly rude. He was talking so fast and when I started asking questions to make sure I was understanding his instructions correctly, he interrupted me EVERY time and said “I’m talking, let me finish before you speak.” That was the first red flag. Bachir prescribed him crutches at that appointment and my son’s school said he needed a note permitting him to use the crutches. When I called back to ask for one the staff said he has to come back for a follow-up appointment to get the note. So reluctantly I took him back today and WOW, I couldn’t believe the level of rudeness and disrespect Bachir showed. He was asking my son questions and when my son had a hard time answering a particular question I interjected to help answer his question. Bachir sharply turns to me and says “I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to him!” (referring to my son). I was shocked. When I got a chance to eventually make a comment I let Bachir know that I’d also taken him to a pediatric orthopedic specialist for a second opinion. This angered Bachir and he told me he was insulted I’d go somewhere else and asked “Why are you even here then?” I said “because I need a note permitting his crutches at school from you and I can’t get back into the orthopedic clinic for another two weeks.” Then, when he signed the note for school, the staff said they wouldn’t give it to me unless I scheduled another follow-up next week. I said “Wait a minute, I paid for this appointment today so I could get that note today for the rest of the week!” Finally they gave me the note after making me schedule another appointment next week, which I’m canceling! This clinic is full of rude, arrogant staff and physicians who run more of a money hustle than a doctor’s office, and Bachir has THE WORST bedside manner. I’ve never in my life experienced anything else like it. Steer clear of this place! 

My very first 1 ⭐️ Review. I have honestly never had not just a bad experience but an extremely bad experience with any doctor until now and I am 55 years old. This doctor has the worst bedside manner that I have ever experienced. He raised his voice and actually justified his behavior stating that I insulted him simply because I had a pre-existing appointment with a specialist and was curious if I should keep that appointment for a follow up apposed to following up with him since he is Urgent Care. Incredible. He no longer wanted to hear any words from me and literally walked out of the exam room leaving me completely dumbfounded at his behavior. Avoid this doctor at all cost!! He had me embarrassingly in tears as I left. I am awaiting my $50 Urgent Care fee refund as he walked out of the exam room on me in complete anger😮There is surely two sides to a story. Regardless, do you really need to hear the other side of a patients complaint of this nature? I have been in the customer service industry my entire adult life. There is a reason for the little feedback and 2 ⭐️ review rating!! AVOID THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!! The 5 star review must be from a relative that needs his inheritance or something. This is also the first time I have taken the time to write a negative review. My usual protocol is that if it is not a 5 star service, I do not bother with negative. This horrible experience is the exception. It needed to be documented to serve as a warning to others.

This practice fraudulently bills the patient and double bills the insurance and gets paid from both parties. Under investigation with mult companies and agencies. They can’t keep office staff there. They bill Adtl services that were not rendered which is more fraudulent billing. They lie, they are not approved to do covid testing and are not state funded so they buy their “own materials” and do not report positive results to the Heath dept. it’s a well known community fact Of their fraudulent activities. They do not respond professionally and refuse to provide med records to insurances and Falsify their records for adtl billing and that’s why they won’t provide patient medical records. They ignore requests from doctors, insurance personnel and “Dr. Molly” is NOT A DR! She has the worst attitude ever for being in a medical precession. They seem to move states and to different areas. They refuse to refund the patient. Their biller will speak to no one on the phone. Email only and once you tell her it’s fraudulent she tries to deny it but sent me three different itemized statements for the same dos. She had no clue what she was doing. The office does not tell you over the phone the costs of any covid tests. Once you are their you pay upfront regardless if your ins covers it 100%. They are contracted so they cannot refuse to reimburse once their contracted rate is paid. They do not give accurate and full medical info. You may go at 8 but the drs don’t arrive until they finish rounds so u don’t know who you will see or how long the wait is. They allow positive covid patients in a full waiting room to spread the virus further. They should never testers a patient 13 days after a positive result as it’s 4 wks for the virus to shed from your body. They tell patients they will be sued, served and threaten to call the “law” not the police because that’s how bacilo educated the office manager is. It’s required for them to send a letter letting you know after 30 days they won’t be your pcp but they never send out notices, only verbal attacks when it would be a simple task to copy records and send to another dr for ongoing medical care! This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! They are now on Perrin avenue in Fresno. I don’t even give one star but you have to put in something.  Please stay away and never go there. It’s unsafe practices and falsifying billing and medical records is illegal!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would drive 30 min away instead of using them. Most people don’t realize they double bill. They tell you it’s between you and your ins ro get refunded for covid test but they quickly bill a lower amount to the insurances and they do not notify the off site biller that you paid any amount!!!
