Dr. Geoffrey Evan Leber, MD, FACS

I received laser hair removal treatment at Dr. Leber's office. I have had LHR on several occasions but never with this laser technician and never with this machine, the Lumenis Light Sheer Duet, which the technician insisted I use even though my regular machine was right there and I'd been happy with the results. They gave me no consent or ever indicated to me anything more than the worst that could happen would be that the treatment wouldn't work and I'd have to do it again. I had been out of the sun for two weeks especially just to do the laser hair removal and when I mentioned it to the tech she said that it didn't matter anyway as this machine is meant to work with tanned skin which is important to know as the office is blaming my supposed tan for the egregious results.  It really hurt and I left with first and second degree burns all over my calves front and back. They bubbled, then scabbed, then when the scabs fell off they scarred. I now have rows and rows of white scars all over my legs. I cannot let my legs get any sun EVER again according to another dermatologist and plastic surgeon and there is no way  I will ever wear a skirt again without some kind of cover up. Super bummed.
