If you are a plus sized lady, do not go see Dr. Mennie. I am a plus sized woman. I have no other health conditions. I went to Dr. Mennie very early in my pregnancy. He wouldn't even do an exam and told me that I was at risk for having a miscarriage based solely on the fact that I am obese.  After he told me this, I started crying, naturally. He then only talked to my husband. If you can't talk to a crying woman, I don't know how you're an OBGYN. I ended up having an eventless pregnancy and delivered a happy, healthy boy with no complications.
