He bought my dentist’s practice and while he is in network, the dentist seated at that particular office is not. I investigated it. They were not going to tell me. Marouf himself evaluated a tooth for me once and tried to get me to pay upfront for an extraction knowing full well I had a $2K Aetna dental allowance and did not need preapproval. That aborted appt was my only contact with him and he was brash and demanding. I specifically asked for a tooth evaluation and they booked me for a full extraction, then got nasty and intimidating when i refused citing a waste of his time. His asst accused me of “just not wanting to pay”. That’s why i have insurance with a zero dental copay: so I don’t have to pay. They knew Aetna would pay but wanted my cash instead. I quickly located a fabulous dentist.
