Biography

Dr Tatar is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, attaining his MD in the year 2000. Prior to medical school, Dr Tatar earned a BA from Earlham College and a Master's Degree in Biology from Tulane University. He worked for several years at a biotechnology company developing new medications, one of which is on the market for Crohn's Disease. Dr Tatar also spent a year traveling in South America and learning Spanish. After Medical School Dr Tatar completed his residency in Internal Medicine and then his Fellowship Specialty Training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rutger's Medical School in New Jersey (UMDNJ), finishing in 2006.
