My experience with Dr. Edelson left me worse off than when we started. It seemed that he is inexperienced and unable to adjust therapeutic approach to individual needs (in my case). He was not honest when asked directly about his experience, and range of issues treated (actually said, "I cannot tell you that" re. information that any client should be asking as due dilligence). When I deeply needed compassion and validation, this man was critical and coercive. He actually said, "If he dies we'll deal with it !" and changed the subject, just before I lost a parent.
