The staff that answered the phone was very unwilling to assist, having called the day before only to be advised after several minutes of hold time, that they would only speak to my wife directly, and would not allow me to schedule an appointment on her behalf - as a new patient which was advised at that time.  Wife calls the following day, after again several minutes of hold time, staff was very dismissive, not at all helpful and only to advise that Dr. Martinez was not taking any new patients... had this been communicated on my initial call, we would have saved some time on all sides.
