Dr Elizabeth Huntley came to the Beaufort Memorial Hospitalist Program from medical residency in 2020. As a pediatric hospitalist, she assesses infants and children in the emergency department and oversees care for pediatric inpatients, providing medical consultations as needed. A desire to help sick children get better, thus improving life for them and their families in far-reaching ways, informed Dr Huntley's choice of pediatrics as a specialty. Infectious diseases, preventive medicine,including education on the importance of wearing helmets and water safety, and quality improvement are among her professional interests.
