Hoffman's office and staff are bureaucratic and rude. For many reasons, including Hurricane Ian, my father hasn't been to the office for a while. They keep saying he's a "new patient" and make life difficult. His pacemaker may need a new battery. Hoffman implanted it. But the staff won't schedule him for an appointment because he hasn't been there. We discovered his pulse is lower than the low on the device. They still won't see him and don't care. The nurse said it's their policy and told me to go to the ER.  I say go to a Doctor that actually cares or dare I make a pun, has a heart. Not Hoffman.  I regret we got him as the surgeon.
