This was my first visit with Dr Elena Geamanu as my new Endocrinologist. My previous specialist who I had for over 12 years passed away unexpectedly & my struggle to find a competent replacement during this past year has been very stressful & discouraging. I have been to a specialist that I saw once who never took a baseline thyroid panel before assuming I had Hashimoto. Interesting diagnosis since I had my thyroid removed 25 years ago. Obviously she didn't read thru my Information, was not well trained or both. Dr Geamanu surprised me with how detailed her research was reviewing all of my health history going back to 2000 with my diagnoses of thyroid cancer, surgical removal & treatment. She clearly took the time before my appointment to review all aspects of my health throughout the years. She ordered a full thyroid panel & a few other necessary tests. I immediately knew I had found an outstanding doctor who was knowledgeable, pro active & so easy to converse with. Her team from the front desk to her assistant were also a pleasure to work with. Thank you for the opportunity to give Dr Geamanu a much deserved stellar review.

My mother who struggles to speak in English, went to her appointment with my father. They both stated how rude, arrogant, and disrespectful this provider's behavior was, because they asks to be repeated couple times due to language barrier, this provider SCOLDED my parents because they're not understanding. That behavior Is absolute disgusting! Never seeing this provider again and definitely will NOT refer this woman to anyone! When you're working with sick patients, instead of having empathy and compassion, she was rude and disgusting!

I've been with Dr Geamanu for 7 or 8 years, and I cannot praise her enough. She's made my diabetic journey much easier, and I couldn't be in better hands. She doesn't give up looking for reasons why I have certain symptoms, and she listens to my concerns. It took some time to get to the Hoshimoto diagnosis, but she kept asking relevant questions and tested various things until we found the answer. I would truly hate to have to find another endocrinologist because Dr Geamanu is a gem and I feel like a very lucky patient!

Dr. Geamanu, an endocrinologist at the Swedish Edmonds specialty clinic, is just fantasticthe best physician I have ever had (I'm 70). She has helped me tremendously to overcome a very serious diabetic health condition caused by a medication prescribed to me by my primary care physician that landed me in the hospital. I cannot say enough good things about the attentive, quality care that I have received from Dr. G this year that has allowed me to make great progress toward better health.

I manage a complex health issue and Dr. Geamanu has been a tremendous help my improving as much as I have over the past few years. I am very thankful to her and her team. Specifically, she's helped to investigate and adjust medication to help manage normal activity, exercise, and emergent life events such as surgery, injury, and grief. Management requires monitoring and communication and these have been top notch.

My provider is very knowledgeable, thorough with her job, very friendly and nice. The only thing that I'm a little disappointed with is that she replies to the lab work result very slow. I have to wait 3 to 5 days sometimes. I don't know if the result is not good and I have to take more medicines etc. Other than that Dr Geamanu is a very professional and great with her job. I will recommend her to anyone.

Dr Geamanu is very a gracious person. I appreciate that she contacted my insurance company to try and remediate an issue that I had with them on her own. I hadn't asked her to do this for me so I thought she went above and beyond her call of duty. At the last visit she said I had blood glucose levels in the upper level of the normal range. She talked at length about how to curb my carbohydrate intake.

I can say I have had some very good doctors and very poor doctors with swedish. Dr Geamuna is by dar one of the best doctors I have. She is very compassionate and thorough. She does her job like it should be done . It's very comforting having a doctor that actually cares about your health. I wish that others on my care team were like her. It would make being sick a much more pleasant thing.
