Dr.Yavitz performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes.  For me he is the ideal doctor.  He is supremely knowledgeable in his field and takes the time to discuss all potential options available for one's condition.  My vision is now nearly perfect and I no longer have to wear corrective lenses - which I have had to do since I was 4 years old.  I cannot recommend Dr. Yavitz highly enough and will return to him for all future eye care.

Excellent physician. Had Lasik procedure completed in 9/21/16. Decided against monovision initially due to history of migraines and did not want any increased triggers. Positive experience. Front office staff was not warm and fuzzy but defiantly knowledgeable and efficient. Unfortunately, my eyes had considerable change after the procedure which both ophthalmologist and optometrist informed me could happen, but I had also known this as I researched this considerably before deciding to go ahead with the procedure. I was scheduled for a recheck within a week. Physician recommended trying monovision, so I would not need to utilize readers in the future. I decided to try monovision with the understanding that if I had problems, the physician would be willing to correct the 2nd eye. Had correction completed on 12/14/16. Again positive experience. As of today (7/15/17), I have had no complaints. My vision remains 20/20. I do have a bit of eye dryness in the one eye occasionally but overall I am very happy with my experience. If I had known how much of a positive effect this would have for me, I would not have waited so late in my life… should have done this years ago!

From start to finish, the whole process was professional, efficient, and painless. I had the appointment and surgery in the same day, and after napping for a few hours immediately after the surgery, I went out to dinner that same evening and already had most of my sight back, with a just a little blurriness. Would recommend to all family and friends
