There must have been some miscommunication with my appointment time because I arrived about a half hour earlier than expected. On top of the half hour early they were ironically running a half hour late. I sat in the waiting room for long enough to go through 5 magazines and use up most of my cell phone battery. I did not complain and was not angry with staff members because I completely understand that these types of things happen, but had it been in reverse I'm sure I would have been charged a fee or treated differently. Aside from the lateness, the front desk staff was amazingly polite and the waiting area was very lovely. During my time in my service the prep was great as well. After prep is when I was completely disappointed. There was no communication with the person who saw me. She went right to work and I had advised her that I have a hard time with keeping my mouth open wide. When I was choking from the tube in my mouth she was a little nasty and said, "WHAT?!?" and kept the tube in. This struggle for comfort went on for a bit, she even stabbed the metal hook on my lip and I thought for a minute that I would need to walk out. No apology or any concern...in fact more of a casual ignorance. She did what I believe was a good job on my TEETH but did not care about my comfort at all. After awhile she did tell me what she was doing instead of just treating me like I went to the dentist every day.  If you are going to scrape something, tell me! If you need me to move a certain way--say that! When another doctor arrived they spoke together like I was not even there. They pointed at my xray and talked about areas that may need to be looked at but never was it crystal clear to me what was wrong with my teeth/mouth. I left completely confused and because my teeth needed more work I gotten bad sleep. In a way I see how my reaction may be deemed sensitive, however I paid for a service and it is my teeth that we're working on here. I write this in hope for consideration of what it must be left confused or frustrated with not having a friendly consultation.
