I have requested Aetna to remove Dr. Yamamoto from their network. I'm incredibly frustrated that I wasted my one annual physical on this tired old man masquerading as a doctor. I arrived on-time with my online forms completed, but still had to wait over an hour before the doctor bothered to see me. 

Dr. Yamamoto is elderly and clearly resents still working. He sauntered into the exam room, moving slowly and mumbling - it was very bizarre to see a doctor so disheveled. He struggled to login to his computer and fumbled around with my intake forms, which he clearly hadn't reviewed prior to coming in the room. 

He never maintained eye contact while speaking - he sort of gazed off into random areas of the room while he mumbled softly. It was concerning to see a doctor exhibit this unsettling behavior.

I felt ignored and disrespected. Instead of talking to me about my health issues, all he did was confirm what I wrote on my health history form. No follow up questions or anything... literally just mumbling out loud what I wrote, and calling that a physical. 

It took numerous calls to his office and answering service before the doctor bothered to share my test results. I feel taken advantage of and will make sure Aetna stops sending other patients to him.

His office is gross - the decor is leftover from the early 90's and there was hair everywhere on the furniture and carpet, like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks.

I have really bad insomnia. A psychiatrist in NC prescribed me a medication for this. I went to this guy and waited 2 hours in the patient room to be seen back in September. He gave me a referral for a psychiatrist and 3 months of the prescription. In that three months. I broke my collarbone and couldn't drive. I went back to them in December and explained that situation and the nurse practitioner said they would refill my prescription for January. Now, when I ran out of the medication, they didn't refill it and wouldn't call me back. When I went to the office and explained what was going on, the office staff argued with me, then CALLED THE POLICE and told them I was threatening them to get drugs and the police escorted me out of their office. Unfortunately for them I didn't actually threaten them or do anything wrong so they have nothing they can charge me with. These people wasted a bunch of my time, did not return my phone calls, called the cops on me, and did not help me in any way. So much for the hippocratic oath, I doubt the office staff here even knows what that is. Don't worry, I won't ever be going back to these people.
